Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how erClick collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the erClick mobile application and related services (“Service”).
We do not sell personal data.
1) Data we collect
Account and profile data
- Email address (or other sign-in identifier, if available in-app)
- Unique account/user identifiers
- Profile information you choose to provide (e.g., display name, avatar)
User-generated content (UGC)
- Photos, videos, and audio/music you choose to upload or share
- Posts, captions, comments, and messages you create
- Reports you submit about content or users
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, post, or share, including ensuring they have all necessary rights (especially for music/audio).
Device and usage data
- App interactions and basic usage analytics
- Device and app information (e.g., OS version, app version, language)
- Log data, error logs, and crash diagnostics
- IP address and related security signals for fraud prevention and abuse detection
2) Photo & video permissions (system photo picker)
When you select photos or videos to upload, erClick uses the system photo picker (for example, Android’s Photo Picker). This allows you to select specific media items to share with the app.
- No full media access: erClick does not request broad access to your entire photo/video library for normal operation.
- Only selected items: the app only receives the specific media you select (and any content you upload through the Service).
3) How we use data
- Provide the Service: account creation, authentication, content display, and core functionality.
- Safety: prevent and detect spam, scams, fraud, and policy violations; enforce our Terms and Content Policy.
- Support: respond to user requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve performance: monitor reliability and improve user experience.
- Legal: comply with applicable law and protect our users and the Service.
4) How we share data
- Service providers: we share data with vendors that help operate the Service (e.g., hosting, authentication, storage).
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information to comply with law or lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
5) Service providers we use
Supabase (auth, database, storage)
We use Supabase to provide authentication, store application data, and store user-uploaded content (such as media) necessary to operate erClick.
Cloudflare (hosting / CDN / security)
We use Cloudflare to host and deliver web assets and provide performance and security services (for example, CDN and protection). Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata as part of these services.
6) Data retention and deletion
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes.
- Account deletion: you can delete your account in-app, or request deletion by emailing support@erclick.org. See Delete Account for details on what is deleted and what may be retained.
- Limited retention: we may retain certain information where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to enforce our terms.
7) Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data.
To make a request, email support@erclick.org from your registered email address and include your username/user ID if available.
8) Children (13+)
erClick is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn a user is under 13, we will remove the account and delete associated data, subject to legal requirements.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal data. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10) Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
