Delete your erClick account
You can delete your erClick account inside the app. If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email.
1) Delete account inside the app
- Open the erClick app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm deletion.
2) Request deletion by email
Email support@erclick.org from your registered email address with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include your username and any user ID shown in the app (if available) to help us verify and process the request.
3) What data is deleted
When your account deletion is processed, we delete (or permanently de-identify where deletion is not technically possible) the following data associated with your account:
- Account profile data (e.g., display name, avatar)
- Authentication records required to access your account (so you can no longer sign in)
- User-generated content you uploaded (e.g., posts and media), subject to section 4 below
- Messages and comments you created, where feasible; in some cases messages may remain visible to other users as “deleted user” while your account identifiers are removed
4) What data may be retained
We may retain limited information for legitimate purposes such as legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcing our policies. Examples include:
- Records needed to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests
- Security logs and anti-abuse records
- Evidence preservation related to investigations of policy violations
5) Timeframe
We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of confirmation/verification. Some retained records may persist longer where required by law or necessary for safety and fraud prevention.
